You can have the workforce you need in the future by planning for it now

Given all the reforms that are taking place do you wonder if you will have the right people with the right skills in your organisation?

Disability Services, Aged Care and Child Protection are just three of the sectors experiencing major reform.  The Workforce Council has developed a robust framework for Strategic Workforce Planning. Developing a Workforce Plan is an internationally recognised discipline and has assisted many forward thinking services to position themselves to face the changes that these reforms will bring.

“Internationally regarded as an emerging discipline, workforce planning requires specific skills and knowledge”… Standards Australia.

“Workforce planning is all about managing our most precious resource – people. It has become an increasingly sophisticated area of practice. Workforce planning is rising in strategic importance to become as important as financial and business planning in many organisations.” Ms Ann Whyte, Chair of Technical Committee MB-009, Standards Australia.

Health and Community Services Industry has kept pace with this emerging discipline with the support of the Workforce Council.
