The Health and Community Services Workforce Council Inc (Workforce Council) is a peak body which leads and influences workforce development and innovation in Queensland's Health and Community Services Industries. As a peak body and working closely with our industries and industry partners, the Health and Community Services Workforce Council is in a prime position to lead and support the sustainability of our industries through contemporary and responsive workforce practices. In order to achieve this Workforce Council has identified four key areas for focus between 2010 and 2013.

The Board is elected by its Industries Reference Group (IRG) to represent the Health and Community Services Industries in Queensland.
