What’s it about
This workshop will explore the ideas and thinking that can occur when working with children 3 years and under. The session will focus on the concepts to consider when thinking about intentional teaching and investigations and how documentation can be guided to support this. Telling their stories is a critical component of documenting young children and the workshop will also provide examples of learning stories, planning and a projects.

Carrie Rose has worked in early childhood education for over 20 years. Her experience ranges from her current Owner/ Director & Educational Leader position at Rosie’s Early Learning, years of teaching across both private and community based child care, lecturing in early childhood education and consultancy work for the past 10 years. Carrie is a member of the Logan Child Friendly Consortium and is engaged in an Action Project group to provide platforms for the Voices of Children in Logan to be heard. She has attended many professional development opportunities including two trips to Italy to the Schools of Reggio Emilia (2000 & 2012). Her passion focuses on using the principles of emergent curriculum strategies, designing educational and inspiring environments and developing leaders in early childhood.
