What’s it about

Come along to this series to find out about how to use the My Time Our Place planning cycle in your outside school hours care service. Educators will examine the school age planning cycle as a way to create rich, dynamic and fun programs and the potential it offers for creative, purposeful documentation.

This workshop is perfect if you would like to learn about emergent curriculum and the cycle of planning and documenting, it will support the development of a shared understanding in vision within teams and provide an opportunity to problem solve some of the challenges of planning and documenting in school aged care such as varied group sizes and children participating for short periods of time.     Join us to learn about the school age care planning cycle to promote deeper understanding of our work as educators striving for continuous quality improvement within the National Quality Framework. By challenging the preconceived notions of program and documentation through critical reflection, we open a world of possibilities within QA 1: Educational Program & Practice for educators to explore in their local contexts.
