AT THE WORKFORCE COUNCIL WE HAVE A CLEAR VISION FOR SUPPORTING THE WORKFORCE IN CHILDREN’S SERVICES ORGANISATIONS RIGHT ACROSS QUEENSLAND

We assist services to remain skilled and professionally equipped, locally connected and valued by their communities. We are committed to support services through workforce planning and professional development, advice and support, research and representation and fostering inclusion.

Come along to our FORUM to:

  • Have your say in the design of our Professional Development Calendar for 2015
  • Be clear about how Workforce Council can provide you with professional development and support
  • Learn about the Professional Learning Tool designed to assist your service in planning for management of Early Years Quality Funds
  • Be introduced to the Deadly Cards that you can use to facilitate conversations.

You can also have a say in the Queensland Government’s Early Childhood Education and Care Workforce Action Plan Review consultation.

Presenter Biography
Health & Community Services Workforce Council Inc

The Workforce Council is a peak body for Queensland’s health and community services workforce. Over the past 20 years we have supported hundreds of organisations to forecast the future demands on their services, plan their workforce accordingly and develop strategies and roadmaps to successfully attract, skill and retain the workforce they need to meet those demands.

Our expertise is in delivering workforce planning, workforce development and skills development strategies, support and advice. We undertake workforce research, design and deliver workforce plans, and each year coordinate over 1,000 skilling and professional development activities, reaching in excess of 20,000 workers.
