NAIDOC week 6-13 July. Serving Country: Centenary & Beyond

NAIDOC originally stood for ‘National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee’ and commemorates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Every year the event holds the National NAIDOC Awards Ceremony and Ball which will take place on the Gold Coast in 2014.

Various NAIDOC celebrations will take place throughout the week, with the public being encouraged to host their own local event.
